Ha! That's a discussion we have around here every spring. IDK that there is a correct answer. What if come spring no crop allows you to pencil a profit? Do you subsidize another crop with hedge profits from a different crop? Sure makes it hard to have a plan-and rotation usually enters the equation at some point.
