Casey Iowa | U r correct about your soils......rains have been very spotty.....excessive wetness in May is showing up now....lack of root system....which leads to lack of nitrogen uptake into the Plant...then excessive heat n no rain for a while leads to those plants burning up quicker.
Our entire farm averaged around 205 an acre last year.....I have not taken the time to grab years yet.....but if I had to guess our corn average right now I would put it in the 175 +/- 8 range
