Riley will survive because he doesn't act like a wild animal like pelini. There is a huge element of husker nation that expect civility. Also I think he only loses two. Imo if you hire a coach you have to let his recruits at least make it to their senior year. Unforuanety for pelini, his best player was one of calahans recruits. Suh. Lesson to be learned from Nebraska, when replacing the coach on the best team in the country in 1997, you hire the best coach and pay them, otherwise you wander in the wilderness for 20 years burning up all your equity.
