I'm not sure what all you were trying to say, but I believe you're saying stacked corn is planted with the intention from day 1, regardless of past, present & future pest situations, as a maximum high yielder. Is that right?

Even in your apparent shamed condition, if you were shooting for the moon, would you use the corn seed with the most potential, or the 2nd best?

Also, I obviously feel different than you. I'm glad we have well over 100 yrs of family history to base our farming knowledge. I'm proud of what's been handed down & will continue to be. You can't buy it all in a book. I'll leave the banking to the bankers. Banking has 0 to do with winning a NCGA contest.
