The morphine ramp up is what did my a dad in. They said he was in pain by his heart rate. The loaded him up on morphine and 45 minute later he breathed his last. I might have helped him along unknowingly because I could not stand to see him with his mouth so dry and not drinking. I swabbed his mouth with a suckerlike swab. He may have gotten water into his lungs.
