Tough question. Something like cancer that usually moves along pretty fast I would say keep the pain down and let it run it's course.
The toughest one is Alzhiemers or Dementia where a person may be physically ok but knows no one. That is kind of a waste but still would be tough to assist in euthanasia .
It's something as a society we probably should face the facts and make some kind of policy. We really can't afford to keep people alive at any cost. Long term care is expensive and for some, what purpose does it serve?
