Near-north Ontario, French River | FWIW I think so much of a persons longevity is just genetics and/or heredity. Everyone knows thte 90yr old geezer that drank his whole life, and smoke cigars everyday with hardly a health concern, and the young fitness nut that dropped dead at 30 from a heart attack. Yes there are things that we do to ourselves that can shorten our lives, but for some it seems they can do no wrong, and others will die too young even if they do everything right. I guess thats why I don't fret too much about loving a good steak for example.. I don't drink or smoke for the simple fact it's just appealed to me. Either way, not sure I want to be around when I'm 90 and all my friends are long gone. |
