Southeast Colorado | I've said it many times before but it seems appropriate to say it again here. From Jan 1 2011 to mid April 2015 we had 20 total inches of moisture (snow, rain, everything). Less than 5" annual precip. Then from April 2015 on to the end of 2015 we had another 20". Last year was about 16" and seemed phenomenal. Just wanted folks to see highly variable quantified. We can make plenty of money with 16" annual precip here. Today it's 75 and the wind is blowing 40 mph. Looks to be another highly variable year! | |
