Subject: RE: Tile Spacing

Holland, Indiana (SW IN)
Good lord all the talk about needing 4" tile incase of screw up installing --we have been using 3" for a bunch of years with a lazer setup I have never dug down and seen more than 1/2" water in the tile. On pretty flat ground ---IMO quit worrying--- a tile plow has a long flat piece it rides on in the ground unless you are driving too fast it will be OK--we love 3" tile 5500ft per roll, cheaper than 4",we almost always put it on 30' as others have advised above.

Hope this helps--- Dan
