“These are the times that try men's souls.”
Ben I feel for your hard time right now. Very tough decisions to be made. I've been lucky up to date, most all our family members have been able to stay at home up to date. Wife's grandmother was in nursing home for 10 years, I know I wouldn't want that kind of life. She didn't even know who she was, or anybody else. The home treated her great, but their wasn't any way to keep her at home. She required care 24/7 for those ten years. We tried to keep her home for about 3-4 years, but in the end it was tough we needed help, but during the first few years she had good days and liked being around people she grew up with. Good luck, probably one of the hardest things to handle in life.
