I'm typing as I'm sitting with my 91 year old grandmother in the hospital.
As cruel as I might sound from what I see these situations seem to take care of themselves. Once you visit a nursing home you learn just how depressing they are. I learned they if they are considered of sound mind on paper you have zero input.
Can you do anything to make the house safer? Fall proof it the best you can and try to set them up to survive.
How do you convince an old farmer that it's time to move off the farm?
