in your own words you just said that protectionist acts are not a glowing success and telling us to be more competitive when because of the currency exchange, which no farmer has control over,. allows you to bring a lot of grain south.it just never seems to go the other way.if your dairy barriers would come down many canadien dairymen would be gone and your country would enjoy cheaper and more abundant dairy products.alot of canadiens close to the border flock south to buy consumer goods including a lot of dairy products.canadien dairymen's knees would wobble if they had to compete with u.s dairymen.MO
