mn | Spend your money on insulation rather than finishings. It's always easy to upgrade finishings later. Insulation, not so much.
My parents got a front door with a side light that can unlatch and open. Provides a 46 inch opening for moving things in/out.
If you don't foam the entire house (i would) at least have the rim joist area and top of the walls sprayed.
Put conduit in the walls especially from attic to basement to run future wires.
Cat 5 cable to all rooms.
Don't go overboard on the garage if you live on the farm and have other storage buildings. Definitely go at least 28' deep tho.
