Near-north Ontario, French River
I'm sure I will miss one or two, but in no particular order....pioneer, dekalb,Nk,pride and maizex. There are smaller ones that seem to be more regional in nature , country farm, and dedell, renk, mycogen are some that I can think of. Dekalb and pioneer probably account for 75-80% of the Ontario corn seed market, they simple dominate the genetics side of things.Things are different here than the US where multiple companies may sell the same hybrid under different numbers. Here if you want "x"hybrid the only place you will get it is from "y" seed company,.
