That is a very good point.

That is the ringer. They can change the rules any time they want. Well not exactly. To do something drastic they need to have cover. A crisis. Then they can push through anything they want if they can create enough fear. Like billion dollar bank bailouts and zero percent interest where money from savers is transferred to banks and debtors.

That is the wildcard. In the next crisis (and there WILL be a crisis), we don't know what they are going to do. Or the timing.

That is why I keep watching for signs. Keep paying attention. It is easy to become complacent to the "new normal". But nothing is really normal at all.
