What I have learned is this. Mobile homes, regardless of their size or construction, decrease in value as time goes by. "Non-mobile homes" increase in value. In fact, I have relatives who bought a house 50 or 60 years ago, lived in it and raised a family in it through their working years, then sold it for enough profit to make a pretty good nest egg for retirement. Don't think you can do that with a mobile home.
