SCKS | we have dug and backfilled thousands of basements in south central Kansas. Was going to backfill one today if not for the rain. I would recommend at least a nine foot basement wall. 99% of all basements around here do not have any foam insulation on the walls or under the basement floor. The walls would have waterproofing sprayed on the outside and drain tile inside and out is standard here with at least 12" of gravel over tile on the outside. | |
