Scranton | My way limits risk...blending it 10% with 90% of another number with fresh seeds allows one to still have a good enough stand if it doesn't stand up to the weather. Every other row allows one to keep the numbers separate and replant the rows if caught early. Otherwise one usually only loses maybe 20% of the yield on 60 inch rows...and that's if nothing grows in those rows.
I usually only have a few bags left over and I always use the blend method. | |
