Think about the emissions making DEF, making all the emission components and then all the extra service calls parts replacements tractor switching etc due to tier 4 It's not about the environment. It's not about healthcare. It's about money and control. It is a human heath issue, the particulate and NOX emissions from diesel engines are bad for human health. If you don;t want def, feel free to use an engine with EGR, with the cooling, turbo and egr valve issues. When the SCR system fails, it just derates the engine rather than making even bigger bills. |
