Pierce county WI | We will see how my new Pete is with def. The only other motor with def I have is my dodge Cummins. I traded a 12 in on my 14. It gets 5 mpg better than the 2012. I went to vo tech for diesel mechanics out of high school in 1996. Older mechanics were complaining about the over complex fancy new electronic engines. Now looking back, everyone thinks these are the greatest diesel engines ever made. When the 8000 series Deere tractors came out everybody thought they were going to be bad. Now, everyone loves them. I heard people thought it was the first sign of the apocolypse when John Deere started making tractors with more than 2 cylinders. In 2036 we will be talking about how we wish you could still get the good ol 2016 engines... | |
