Instead of this is brand is good or bad, like JD versus Farmall debate, think of the material they are made of. More like the gas or diesel argument.

Wood rots, if windows get wet, they will rot. I don't care who made it, if it is wood and has condensation on it, it will rot.

Vinyl really expand and contracts related to temp. A vinyl window frame will be smaller when it is cold and larger when hot. We put vinyl windows from Menards in our old house and had one pane break for no reason other than possibly contracting frame? They were hard to keep sealed too.

Aluminum (do they still make metal windows?) transfers temp very easily compared to other window material.

Fiberglass frames seem to me to be the best. They will not rot, keep size better if hot or cold and can be had with foam inside to make them very insulating compared to other designs.

We built in 2009, had Pella Impervia windows installed and they have been flawless so far. We have a warm tight home and we like the windows. Think of the material as much as the brand.

Look at the material before the name on the window.
