For the hundredeth million time, it's not the insurance cost that are out of line, its the healthcare cost!!
Hum.
One of the Twin Cities channels, think it was ch5, had something last month on pill costs. In an insurance network, (for example, from memory) the pills cost a thousand bucks, $300 to the person and $700 to the insurance co.
If you just walked up to the pharmacy and paid cash, the exact same prescription pills cost $230 to the person, no insurance.
So there is plenty of insurance and manufacturer shenanigans going on, as to I say the insurance costs are also out of line.
