I know that you are not completely safe anywhere but I think guys lost more money with the Verasun deal then they could lose with their money on the board. There was also a small local elevator about 100 miles from me that filed bankruptcy this fall and a bunch of farmers ended in a bad situation there also. I know of a couple of other coops that lost a bunch of money when one of their grain buyers went under not too long ago.
