Subject: RE: Barb wire?

SW, Missouri
I'm the odd guy out but I like Gaucho 15.5 barbed wire. I've ran across some Red Brand on some custom jobs that was corroded bad and also would have stretches of 5' or longer with no barbs on it. I think the bigger wire gets stretched out easier after it's put up and starts sagging quick. I like 9' spacing on T-posts. We put up H braces with 4 cross bars. I like the looks and it also serves as a ladder for people to cross fences. I like to drive pipe corners 4-5' deep and use 8' spacing from my corner and brace post, if we aren't able to drive them that deep we will spread the post apart 10' and they don't seem to have as much leverage to pull. Like I said these are just my thoughts I know others will disagree with me but this has been and is still working at our place.
