Sounds like a good way to go! My Dad retired financially at 63 He helped us almost everyday till he was 78 when dementia set in. He wanted to be home by dark, but the next morning he was back early to fuel things up. I never realized how much he did till he wasn't there doing it! We lost him 4 years ago and I miss him everyday. That's how I plan to finish up also.
