Subject: rye cover crop and spring strip till

I have fall seeded a rye cover crop in soybean stubble and am going to corn. I do some vertical till but predominately no till. I have been adding strip till recently. Has anyone strip tilled into the rye in the spring time? How does it affect the allelopathy? I am considering strip till into the rye in the attempt to eliminate some of the pit falls of the rye cover crop, i.e. terminating too soon before the corn and getting rain and not being able to plant because it is too wet or terminating to late and creating a allelopathic effect harming the corn.

In addition, does anyone know when the cereal rye allelopathic effects are strongest or most harmful to the corn crop?
