Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | I was right out of college when I applied for my first loan, to buy a place. Banker told me that my plan looked good.
He also told me that if I tweaked the numbers right, I was smart enough I could fool him. But he told me to always be honest with myself, if I tried to fool myself into thinking a looser was a winner, it was a quick road to bankruptcy. I've always thought that was some good advice. He was a veteran of the 1980's, had foreclosed on some of my own family. | |
