Northeast Corner of Missouri | Just had it done 12 days ago, mine had to be done caused from my clumsiness and I slipped from top step on tractor and landed on my shoulder and blew my rotator cuff out, didn't have to much choice, that fall was at the end of October, went though all the ins hoops and ended up down to the University Hospital Columbia Mo. orthopedic group to have it done, went though x-rays first then mri, doc determined it would be orthoscopic surgery, which is less evasive, which was ok with me, ended up with 6 anchors in it and so far so good, also when I was discharged I was sent home with a cooling machine which is a must and trust me on that it will be your best friend for sure, and as far as recovery time everyone will be different, first do as they tell you and it will try your patience too, it will take a lot of time to heal, I have found a lot of usefull info about this on the internet. |
