Near-north Ontario, French River | I've had morphine on 2 occasions, the same day but approximately 4hrs apart. Maybe they didn't dose me high enough but for me at least morphine did nothing to alleviate the pain from Kidney stones. When I asked for the third dose they declined citing the risk of addiction. They tried toradol and that worked like a charm . :-) didn't even make me light headed, or "woozey " but it killed the pain in a matter of minutes. I walked out of the hospital an hour later, stone passed a few days later. That had to be the worst 7day period in my life LOL. |
