Inputs should come down hard but those makers don't want to take less. Fert should be way lower with price of NG, that's always the excuse they used before why they couldn't come down, so what's the reason now? Why isn't seed cheaper the companies pay the growers off the board, board way lower then it was 3 yrs ago.

Rent or at least here in NE is going to be a long hard fight to get to go down with our land tax's. If you had say $200 Irr rent, not quite half of that income would go to tax's.

I'm not saying machinery isn't a issue, cause it is high but so is repairs, you can spend as much on a tranny or motor OH now as 1-2 yrs of payments are for a later model tractor.

I have no problem with $3 corn and $8 beans if inputs would actually reflect it. Not stay like corn was $5 yet.

Something will have to give but I'm sure some of us will have to scream uncle before things change.
