I think you will get more ideas and more pinpointed ideas if you give us a sense of what you weeds issues are.

For instance, around here where pigweed is really my only/main issue, switching to liberties lowered my tech fee, slap on some good pres, and then if the pres do a good job and I can get by with just a harmony or cadet or cobra post, instead of liberty, and save a few bucks. Now in other places wildoats are becoming an issue for us, I don't really trust liberty on wild oats and I don't want to wear out our ALS and ACCase modes and not be able to control them in wheat, so roundup beans will be the order there. Might throttle back on pres in that situation, like maybe just valor.

Imho the best way to save is to find the savings each situation can give you. Know your options and the price of those options.
