It's been said a lot of times, but if you have 200 aphs, then 160 is a failure. It's harder to do as badly as 160 than achieve 230. If that makes sense. After walking fields today I'm also lowering my estimates. Pollination was surprisingly further behind than I expected, ear counts were surprisingly better than I thought, but it looks like a ton of dinks. Can't say for sure yet but the plants just don't look good enough to be encouraged.
