Kernel counts are one factor to yield, but not the whole game. A year ago I had some NK 45P side by side with DK5356. On yield check the 5356 should have crushed it with kernel counts. Easily 30 bushels difference. At harvest one was 197 and the other 199. Kernel depth is a big factor.
