Because thats how it was done last year. 30 years before last year, that is how his father did it the year before.


Maybe in your part of the world but around here I never saw planters running on an angle to anything unless it was double crop beans in wheat stubble without GPS. Especially 30 years ago and when his dad did it, doubt the horses could have handled it.
