Boog, I know it's not quite your immediate area- but on the WHO radio farm show today they were interviewing a marketing "exspurt" that said he'd been talking to a producer in eastern IL.  This producer said 10% of his corn was drowned out, but the other 90% was better than last year.  I'm pretty sure that is a producer who has never experienced this crap, and doesn't know that a drowned out acre will be surrounded by 3 acres that suck when the yield monitor gets there.
