Martinton,il | There are a few fields around here that are rolled up that are in standing water also. I always thought it was dry soil or heat that made corn roll but today was neither. I am not far from Ron and conditions here have deteriorated badly the last 10 days. I have corn over my head in some fields that parts of the field are brown and dead where water has stood for over 3 weeks. I have seen water this high before but never while a crop in field and never for such a long time. Don't let it get to you because there is nothing you did wrong and nothing you can do about it. Go fishing. | |
