| Oh, the hip replacement!!! Well, things have changed there. Originally to be done on June 10th. On Monday the doctor's nurse calls and tells me that the doctor is leaving to go to Penn State(why would you want to go there???) and would like to move my surgery up to May 15th. After a quick conversation with my wife I tell them yes. Overnight I get to thinking that we may not have the beans planted by then with the weather forecast that we had at the time. I also considered the cost to have my corn sprayed(which I normally do). So, custom planting plus custom spraying = too much out of pocket cost. Tuesday morning I get on the phone with another doctor and get a surgery booked for June 30th and then cancel the one for May 15th. The good thing is I have longer to get down to where I want to be weight wise. | |
