1-2% is what USDA is calling for or around 89m. Seed sales from dealers in this area would say less including Monsanto earnings. Jerry Gulke is 87m planted and uses farmer surveys. He has been pretty accurate before. Any time we get the bean ratio above 2.4:1 it encourages bean acres is another factor to throw in. I'm not sure where it will be but the pessimism surrounding corn we could be well surprised by how low corn acres are but maybe a slight offset with milo acres. |
