Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow | I have been wondering whether the slide in Dec15 corn price will cause any reduced planted acres? While there has been modest increase in Dec15 open interest the past few days most of that probably can be attributed to speculator short selling (no hard evidence for this opinion).
While I'm sure a good deal of corn gets planted, given the fact that soybeans can still be hedged at the $9.50 range how many acres might just be shifted to beans? |
