I shoot for 6.5 to 7 ton yield on established alfalfa and try to cut only 3 times. This is typically what I spread per year with half going on after first cutting and half after third:
175# of 18-46-00
600# of 0-0-60
30# of borax (10% boron so 3# actual)
30# elemental sulfur (90% S)
alfalfa inputs?
