I'd agree. At least if your renting it out you get some money for your trouble and you can decide if you want the new Biology teacher from the high school who doesn't like any pesticides or odors as a tenant. I know lots of guys who either throw the house in or charge a worker reasonable rent, helps keep the guys around.

Personally, I've not had the horrors that others on this site have had with tenants. Granted, we only rent places in 'town', although town may only be 600 people, or up to the big city of 50k. I still think that, at least right now, there is more profit in rental houses than farm ground. Certainly the case here. Not saying I'm going to go sell any of my ground, but we haven't bought any in the last 5 years while ground has skyrocketed and houses have been down.
