KY | I just talked once again with my Opthamologist two days ago. I am borderline eligible, as my left eye's stigmatism is so severe, it may be a holding point. I am on the verge of being legally blind without my contacts or glasses. I went back to contacts this week as I finally got tired of leaning over working on something and my glasses wanted to shift, or they got smudged, or they fell off. Then I had to keep prescription sunglasses with me, changing back and forth outside, in the shed, etc. Tried transitions, they never would lighten up enough for me inside the shop and shed with the doors open to see. So.. there I am with one pair on my face and one pair dangling from my shirt A: Annoying and B: Easy to lose or damage. Then I'd be out in the rain.. or in and out of the rain... I've had enough. Have a consult with Lasik next month, if I can do it will wait until winter so I won't be out of commission at a bad time for a few days. | |
