Can anyone have this?
Um, I learned a bit just the other day. My backround story is that I had RK about 18 years ago. The last few years my vision has degraded to the point where I really need both readers and distance. I talked to the Dr. about Lasik, thinking that might be a way to bring my vision back up to par. I was told that since I had RK, Lasik is out of the question due to the scars the RK left. Since no one does RK anymore the only surgical choice for me would be a sort of cataract/lense transplant type deal. That would cost me more than I'm willing to pay so I guess I'm SOL. |
