Elizabethtown,KY | My dad spent his last 5 years in a nursing home, the first one was about 20 miles from home as it was the only one with a room when he had to go. After 11 months we moved him to another which was 10 miles from home, it had a great reputation, but the longer he was there the worse it got, if he had lived much longer we would have probably moved him.
If your family isn't happy with his care by all means move him if you can find one that suits you and has a room. Talk to someone who has family in it if possible to get a handle on it. | |
