Allen County, Kentucky
I must have got a bad one. Bought a new 1997 2500 HD. 130k when I got rid of it. The Dex cool ate the intake gasket, radiator clogged shut. Transmission, in tank fuel pump, alternator twice. Front suspension fell apart. Had a variable steering option. Supposed to stiffen the steering the faster you drove. In the middle of curves the steering would change. The anti lock brakes would make you just about loose control. Put my palm on top of the bed to jump out and left a dent. The 350 motor was still a work horse, but overall reminded me of a Dodge. Good motor, rest not so good. Traded it in on a 2004 F350 V10 Ford. Still have it 144k. It has been a great truck.
