In June I flew over an Enbridge pipeline that was installed about 7 years ago. You could look both directions and see exactly where the ground was disturbed. When you are on the ground you couldn't tell at all. I never took a yield check but I guarantee that once that pipeline is installed the ground would never produce like it did before construction. Drainage was my major concern but luckily the pipe was deep enough to run tile over. I can see certain farms dropping in value if the pipe would limit future tile.
