But essentially the pin is inserted from INSIDE the vulva and then through all tissue (at 2 or 10 o'clock direction) out through the skin and then second plastic washer attached. On real bad cases can put one on either side. Works and you can get a good nights sleep.

edit: I noticed if you "mouse over" the ebay picture you can actually read the instruction sheet.



They a pretty proud of thier pins, $29.99 , bought mine for under 10 bucks a set.
You do need to remove them a couple weeks after calving. And a dose of antibiotic.
