central Iowa | I had one that prolapsed calving and had her sewed up. Planned to sell new, but never got her gone. She went to
pasture along with the rest. Anyway, I'm planting corn that spring. Had a few in the lots by the barn. I run out
of seed corn, run up to the place. Here's the cow standing with some nose and a big swelled up tongue sticking
out of her. I jump the fence while pulling out my pocket knife. Cut the string-SPLOOOSH-out comes the calf.
I was VERY lucky I ran out of seed when I did ! | |
