NS Canada | My last was my worst, she was too early to be calving, or so we thought. Same story vet stitched her up and told us to watch her. Which was easy as I kept her in. Anyways a week goes by and she starts to pushing again, we cut the stitches and she starts calving. Only thing is the reason she was pushing the week before was because there were problems and she was trying to abort.. Turned out the calf had been dead in there for over a week.
It STUNK like you woudn't believe. Almost too much too take and slimy, half rotten to boot. Cow survived enough to get the penicillin out of her system and off she went. | |
