Subject: RE: Cotton Varieties to Corn maturity

Penn Yan, NY
Thanks for all the answers!

Are there any non traited super short varieties? We are 100% organic and planting traited seed would not be an option on a large scale and I want this to be a representative experiment.

Talked with a veggie farmer north of us who we work with on cabbage and he didn't see any problem with starting in a greenhouse and transplanting other than that is transplanter is on 30 inch rows. Can cotton be done in rows of that width? what problems would there be?

I have found a number of cotton types from Reimer seeds but the information is pretty limited.

If I can find seed I am going to give this a shot and will keep everyone posted on results
